Google review QR code generator.
Customers scan and the Google review box opens for your business, stars ready to tap. No searching for your name, no wrong branch. Paste your review link below, then print it where people finish their visit.
Your code appears here as you type.
Made in your browser: nothing you type is sent to Qrunto. The code holds its content itself, so it never expires.
How to get your review link
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your business and search for your business name on Google.
- In your Business Profile, choose Ask for reviews (sometimes called Get more reviews).
- Copy the link. It looks like
g.page/r/…/review. Paste it into the box above.
No access to the Business Profile?
Use your Place ID instead: a code Google gives every place on the map, like ChIJN1t_tDeuEmsRUsoyG83frY4. Find yours by searching for your business on Google's Place ID finder, then paste it above. The code opens the same review box.
A normal Google Maps link won't do: it opens your listing, and customers then have to find the reviews and the "Write a review" button themselves. For directions, use our Google Maps QR code generator.
How customers use it
- They point their phone camera at the code and tap the link.
- Google opens the review box for your business, in the Google Maps app or the browser.
- They tap the stars, write a line if they like, and post. They need to be signed in to a Google account to post.
Where to put it
- Where the visit ends: on the bill folder, the receipt, the card machine stand or the counter by the till.
- On tables: on the back of a table tent, next to your menu code.
- Salons and clinics: at reception or on the mirror station, so clients can scan while they wait.
- Takeaways and shops: a small sticker or card in the bag.
- Add a line of text, such as "Enjoyed your visit? Tell Google", so people know what the code does.
- Want it printed? Our Google review QR code stand maker turns this code into a free PDF stand with your name and colour.
Stay within Google's rules
Asking for reviews is fine, and Google encourages it. What gets reviews removed:
- Offering something in return, like a discount or a free drink, for a review.
- Asking only happy customers. Put the code where everyone sees it, rather than handing it only to people who loved their meal.
- Writing reviews yourself, or asking staff, friends or family to. Fake reviews are also against consumer law in the US and UK.
Questions
Does the code expire?
No. The code holds Google's own review link, and nothing passes through Qrunto. It works for as long as your business is on Google.
Why does it say my link isn't a review link?
You've probably pasted a link to your Maps listing or your website. Use the link from "Ask for reviews" in your Business Profile, which ends in /review, or your Place ID.
Can I see how many people scanned it?
Not with a free static code, because scans go straight to Google. The Qrunto app's editable review codes count scans, so you can see which table or counter gets the most.
Does it work for more than one branch?
Make one code per branch, each with that branch's review link or Place ID, so reviews land on the right location.
