Terms of use

The rules, kept short.

Last updated 28 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Muhammad Zubair, who runs Qrunto ("we", "us"). They cover the Qrunto app, qrunto.com and the pages people see when they scan a Qrunto code. By using Qrunto you agree to them. If you use Qrunto for a business, you confirm you're allowed to agree on its behalf.

1. What Qrunto does

Qrunto lets you make QR codes for menus and price lists, Wi-Fi, links and WhatsApp, print them, and manage them from the app. There are two kinds of code:

  • Static codes hold their content inside the code. They work without Qrunto, and can't be changed after printing.
  • Editable codes point to a short qrts.app link that we redirect. You can change what they open at any time, and we count their scans.

2. Your account

You can start without an account. A guest account lives only in the app on your phone, so if you delete the app before saving it with your email, you may lose your codes. Keep the email on your account up to date and don't share your sign-in codes. You're responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Using codes responsibly

Don't use Qrunto to:

  • link to scams, phishing, malware or anything illegal,
  • pretend to be another business, or put your codes over someone else's,
  • mislead customers, for example with false prices or fake reviews,
  • share content you don't have the right to share, or that is hateful, sexual or violent, or
  • break, overload or get around the limits and protections of the service.

We check links for safety and look at reports from the public. We may warn people before they open a link, pause or block a code, or close an account that breaks these rules, and we may report serious misuse to the authorities. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why.

4. Your content

Your logo, menus, photos and links stay yours. You give us permission to store them, show them on your menu and code pages, and process them to run Qrunto (for example, reading a menu photo). You confirm you have the right to use them. Menu text read from a photo can contain mistakes, so check it before it goes live.

5. Plans and payment

  • The free plan has the limits shown in the app and on our pricing.
  • Pro is a subscription at the price shown in the app before you buy. It's billed through the App Store or Google Play, renews automatically until you cancel, and you cancel in your store account settings. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's rules.
  • We may change prices or plan limits. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we'll tell you before they do.

6. Our promise about printed codes

If you cancel Pro, your editable codes keep working on the free plan; we won't switch them off because you stopped paying. Codes do stop working if you delete them, delete your account, or we block them under section 3. If we ever have to close Qrunto, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice and a way to export your menus and links.

7. Printing

Qrunto test-reads every code before it makes a print PDF and offers a test print. Please print one page and scan it before printing the rest. We aren't responsible for printing costs if something is printed without being checked.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Qrunto and your codes available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features. If we remove something you rely on, we'll try to tell you first.

9. Liability

Qrunto is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if that's more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

10. Ending

You can stop using Qrunto and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you're a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app for important changes. If you keep using Qrunto after a change, the new terms apply.
